Finding Your Romance
by Jennifer Good
Every once in a while we discover our relationship isn't exactly where we hoped it would be. This is especially true in areas of romance. If you've found yourself wanting to find the romance you once had, try a few of these ideas to rejuvenate your relationship.
No distractions
Finding your lost romance can at first be easily attained with one simple action - turning off or removing all distractions. This includes the T.V., playing on the computer, talking on the phone, etc. Once you've removed these distractions, you can spend your newfound time doing things together such as talking a walk, playing a game, cooking together and/or reliving memories past. Secret Rendezvous
Take the time to plan a secret night (or day). You could set aside a particular day of the week as a secret date night, where each week you and your partner take alternate turns on planning a secret rendezvous. Your time out can be as simple as a night on the beach looking at the stars, or it can be more extravagant. The point is to spend time away from home together, while knowing that your partner has secretly created something special just for you. For ideas on creating your secret rendezvous try these links:

Romantic Encounters
Spending an afternoon in a lounge chair, sipping a tropical drink, while having your partner rub massage oil over you is one of many different romantic encounters you and your partner could share. Romantic encounters are a perfect way to recreate a scene or moment you both want to share. Ideas can range from a tropical paradise to an Asian romance. Your possibilities are limited only by your imagination. To start, try one of these theme date ideas:

The Setting
You'll find it easier to be in the "romantic" mood if your surroundings evoke a romantic feeling. Place framed pictures of each other around your home. Fresh flowers by your bed are a nice, romantic touch, and satin or high thread count sheets are a luxury to your skin. A note pad on which you leave a daily love note for your partner to see will keep you in the forefront of their mind.
