Are You A Romantic?

Romance ~ A love affair. Romantic involvement; love.
Romantic ~ Of or characteristic of romance. Given to thoughts and feelings of romance
Lover ~ One who loves another.. One who is fond of or devoted to something
Do you consider yourself a romantic? Why? What characteristics do you feel makes you that way? Take a minute and write them down.
Once you've finished your list, read each item on the list one by and and write down the last time you did or were any of those things.
Chances are that it was quite awhile ago or even never. To be romantic, or be considered a romantic, you have to ACT like a romantic. You know the things to do. What is your idea of a perfect date? Most of us sit around and complain that their partner isn't romantic or understanding of their needs and desires. Let me ask you this. When was the last time you did something like that for them?
Some of us have gotten so caught up in our lives that we forget what it's like to be a romantic. We have this notion of what it is... but because we are so caught up in the acting out of our lives we forget how do to it. Or even how much we enjoy being romantic! Do you find yourself longing for something more meaningful in your life? It could be your just not acting on what you feel. The solution is do and be who you want to be. Don't sit around and talk about it... be it!
Tips to spark your romantic side:
~Write down everything that made you fall in love with your partner.
~Who or what couples do you know that you would consider are truly in love and romantics? Spend some time with them.
~Change personal habits and items to reflect what you consider romantic. For example, buy some lingerie, get a new haircut or style, set up some candles or incense, always have champagne and a set of champagne or wine glasses around, etc.
~Read a few romance novels to get ideas from those great heros & heroines! :)
