Be not afraid the wind whispers, the silent Spirits sing,
In the heartbeat of our Mother, the Ancient ones will bring,
The Sacred Hoop of loving, the one that has been broken,
Be not afraid my Warrior, the Spirit of silence now has spoken.
Our hearts send out a message, in our Spirit it will rise,
When again we love our Brothers, and forgive those with the lies.
The Ancestors speak to us, Be not afraid when our Spirits talk.
Do not lose yourself to darkness, On that road that Warriors walk.
Creator calls upon us, His plan has been revealed,
To question your soul wisdom, has gotton Warriors killed.
Do not deny His words to your heart, to do that is to hide.
Walk the Red Road right beside Him, and claim your Native Pride.
Our Ancient Ones, they suffered, the likes we'll never know,
By the ones who were so brutal, and laughed with every blow.
Creator, he gave them strength, the same he gives to you,
Together we have the power, to start our life anew.
We will do it the old way, with dance and with song,
And the Spirits will surround us, to them we each belong.
We will fight for the elders, and our children so naive,
We will listen to our old ones so to teach what we believe.
I know how you have suffered, because you were denied,
The role model that you needed, to honor you and guide.
There is beauty in your suffering, today you may not know,
But you will see it in your future, as you learn and as you grow.
Be not afraid my Sister, let your Spirit lead the way,
And trust you'll not be lonely on the path you walk today.
There's a Sister right beside you, one who knows your fear,
Talk to her in Spirit, I promise she will hear.
We can begin today to prepare for our tommarrows,
To trust Creator and ourselves and forgive for all the sorrows,
Forgivness is a gift to you, It does not mean forget,
For the persecutors must meet their God with hearts of deep regret.
