Seagulls



The seagulls soar
Over the crashing waves
Of the ocean
To the sandy beach
Beyond.

They squawk for food,
Which they sometimes get,
And sometimes don't,
Then they launch into flight
To continue their journey
To an unknown land.

They soar over the crashing waves
Of the ocean
To the watery world
Beyond.
