I have always dreamed of owning my own bookstore. It would be a cozy haven, like an old-fashioned study, with comfortable reading chairs, coffee, cappuccino, book club meetings... it would invite loitering and income would be secondary to community.

Unfortunately, I can't own my own bookstore, not just yet. But I can provide links to the kinds of books I would sell if I did own a bookstore, and the kind of recommendations I would make if my visitors asked "What's a fiction book you like?" "What's a good dog-training book?" "My house needs help, and so do I." "What writing book motivates you?" Someday, I'll have my bookstore, but until then, this is it.
