The Lions used fine pitching by Joltin Joshua, Amazing Adam and Jammin Jon to hold Paula's to one run in a hard fought battle. A key hit in the 5th inning by the Lion's Mighty Mitchell was the turning point in the game.
After giving up two runs in the first inning the Lions rallied in the
4th inning to take a 4 to 2 lead. Key hits were made by Tornado Toby,
Joltin Joshua, Amazing Adam, Jammin Jon and Terrific Tyler. Graybec scored again in the bottom
of the 4th making the score 4 to 3. Joltin Joshua then shut the door for
the win. Jammin John pitched 3 innings for the Lions only giving up 2 runs.
It was a pitchers duel. With fine pitching from Joltin Joshua, Amazing Adam and Marvelous Mark Robinson Lumber was held to no runs. With Jumpin Joshua M. on base, Jammin Jon hit a triple to score the winnning run. Both teams played a great game.
In a hard fought game Fisher's Market was able to pull off a 2 to nothing win. The lions played good defense and even had some hits. Blasten Brian came through with a power hit that just went foul.
The Lions used fine pitching by Jammin Jon, Amazing Adam, Tornado Toby and Marvelous Mark to hold the Bluejay's to only two runs in another hard fought battle. A very good Bluejay's team jumped out to a 2 run lead in the second innning only to have the Lions fight back for a 1 run in the 4th and 2 runs in the 5th inning to win the game. Blastin Brian started the Lions rally in the fifth inning with a smash to the Bluejay's shortstop who made a fantastic catch. However, that hit fired up the Lions. And the next 4 batters had hits to win the game. Key hits were made by Amazing Adam, Mighty Mitchell, Jumpin Joshua, Terrific Tyler, Killin Kevin, Tornado Toby , Joltin Joshua and Jammin Jon.
Another fine pitching performance by Joltin Joshua, Amazing Adam and Marvelous Mark gave the Lions a shutout victory. A one run first inning was all the Lions need to over come a very stubborn Paula's team. Key hits were made by Tornado Toby, Jammin Jon, Jumpin Joshua, Mighty Mitchell and Killin Kevin.
The Lions fell to a strong Bluejay's rally in the 4th and 5th innings. However, the Lions pounded out 14 hits. Runs were scored by Tornado Toby, Jumpin Joshua, Amazing Adam, Killin Kevin, and Masterful Matt. Key hits were made by Tornado Toby, Jumpin Joshua, Amazing Adam, Killin Kevin, Bangin Bryson, and Blastin Brian. Jumpin Joshua, Marvelous Mark and Tornado Toby pitched 5 strong innings.
Fine pitching by Graybec held the Lion's to only 1 run. The Lions threated to tie the game several times, only to be shut down by some great pitching. Lions had hits by Tornado Toby, Amazing Adam and Jammin Jon.
The Lion's were able to bounce back after two defeats. Jammin Jon and Joltin Joshua
were able to shut down a strong Fisher Market team. Fisher Market jumped
out to a 1 to 0 lead after 1 inning, however, the Lions came back in the
third to take the lead 2 to 1. Key hits were make by Tornado Toby, Joltin Joshua,
Jammin Jon, Mighty Mitchell, Terrific Tyler, Jumpin Joshua and Blastin Brian.
Marvelous Mark and Amazing Adam were able to shut down a high power hitting
team that were a threat to score at anytime. The Lion's bats came alive and were
hitting balls everywere. Hits were made by Amazing Adam, Jammin Jon,
Jumpin Joshua, Killin Kevin, Marvelous Mark, Masterful Matt, Mighty Mitchell,
Terrific Tyler and Tornado Toby.
Pitching a shutout Joltin Joshua and Tonado Toby gave the Lions a fine
performance. The Lions jumped out to a 3 to nothing lead after the 1st
inning and never looked back. Key hits were made by Tornado Toby, Joltin Joshua,
Amazing Adam, Jammin Jon, Jumpin Joshua, Blastin Brian and Terrific Tyler.

Pirates. It was one of the best games of the year. Everyone on the
Lion's team had a great time.

The Lions fought back from a first round lost with two wins on Saturday.
The move into Sunday's games with a record of 2 wins and 1 lose.

The Lions played the best game of the year. Joltin Joshua even turned in
the Lions first double play of the year. We moved into the semi finals with
this win.

It was a hard fought game but the Lions dropped another game to the Pirates.
The Pirates were able to make key plays just when they needed them to shut
down the Lions high power offense. With this lose the Lions finish the
Tournment in 4th place.

Milesburg Parade
The highlight of the tournament was the Milesburg Parade. The Yearick's
decorated their trailer with purple and gold. Mr. Quick was kind enough
to pull the trailer with his truck. The parade started at 5:00 and we had
a game at 6:00. So it was with kindness of the parade leaders that they
allowed our team to be third in line. We were in time for the game and
even won and had the bestess time ever in the parade
