For your
information;
My wife has been in failing health
lately and your nasty letter
received on Christmas Eve could not have come at a worse
time. She is one of the kindest most gentle people in
the world ,and does NOT deserve to be threatened or intimidated by the
likes of you.
She positively did NOT knowingly
gain access
to or copy your Notes, indeed we
never even knew you existed before receiving your poisonous Christmas
letter.
Up until 1999, she had no
knowledge of her family history prior to her
father.
At that time Peter Darr contacted
her with news about her Grandfather
and the true story of how her father came to be cut-off from the rest
of his family.
It was Peter who had done this
extensive research (including trips to
the U.K.) which uncovered the incredible Roberts Saga (including the
details you claim she stole from you), and it was from correspondence
with her long lost relatives that she gathered copies of the documents
freely given by them and pieced together her family history.
Are you so conceited that you
think you are the only person capable of
researching this history?
Peter obviously did so prior to
1999. So when were your Notes
written? Since 2000?
Actually Gay never wanted me to
put it on the internet in the first place, but it was such
a incredible tale that I could not resist recording it for posterity.
And since she had already done all the hard work of compiling it in
Word, it was easy for me to transfer it over to html format for my web
site.
Actually I never intended it to be
seen by anybody but our immediate family and I thought I had blocked
the search engines from my site by a robots code, but I
was wrong -- You found it.
Furthermore, we have no interest
in your manuscript or your future book
and hope never to hear from you again.
I have reluctantly removed our
family history from the internet at HER
insistence, not yours.
In the unlikely event you wish to
correspond with us in future, please
do so to ME - Not Gay.
(I have updated my e-mail address
below) - She even went to the extent
of cutting out your return address from the letter she showed me to
prevent me corresponding with you.
So, DO NOT contact or upset
my wife ever again.
