[NI7403] Arrived in New England on the ship "Lyon", under Capt. Pierce, on 16 Sep 1632 with his uncle, James Olmstead. He was one of the original proprietors of Hartford, CT, 1639. He removed from Hartford to Saybrook, and from there to Norwich, abt 1660. He served in King Philip's War as a surgeon, and was the first physician at Norwich.
