Inventory filed 5 Apr 1690, and letters of administration granted to his widow and son John. On 1 Nov 1698, his estate was distributed to his widow and 12 children, one son having died the previous winter.

[NI11910] Letters of administration on his estate granted 12 Mar 1704/5 to his brother John Wheeler. A letter to his brother John, written from the Barbados 19 Jul 1696 was admitted as his will, in which he stated he was aboard a Man-of-War, called the "Play," bound for London, mentions his mother and gives lands to five brothers if he doesn't return. Inventory taken 10 Mar 1704/5 and filed 17 Mar 1704/5. On 22 Mar 1704/5 the estate was ordered distributed to his brothers and sisters, John, Joseph, Jonathan, and David.
