[NI11081] The first record of Andrew is in Hartford in 1651. He was made Freeman on 21 May 1657, and was Chimney Viewer in June, 1662. It is very likely that he was in Hartford and married as early as 1638. The records state that Mary, his second child, was of marriageable age in 1667. Andrew and his wife were both indicted for witchcraft. Andrew was accused 6 Jun 1662, and tried in court very soon afterwards, by a jury that did not agree on the verdict. His wife, Mary, was indicted 13 Jun 1662, and soon tried. She was found guilty, and was most certainly executed, though record of the execution has not been found. Andrew married again, not long after these trials. Andrew and wife, Sarah, moved to Milford in 1667, where they joined the Church on 4 Mar 1671. Will dated 6 Sep 1684. Inventory is dated 16 Oct 1684.
[NI7166] Daughter of William Gibbard of New Haven, CT. Her mother was a daughter of Edmund Tapp of Milford, and sister to the wife of Gov. Robert Treat.
[NI10078] Ezekiel married Elizabeth _____. She married (2) 11 Jan 1686 to Zachariah Baldwin. Inventory of Ezekiel's estate taken 14 Jan 1685, distributed to widow and brother Andrew.
