Dear friend, the biggest decision that you will make in your life, is where you will spend eternity. The
Bible says that you can know whether or not you are going to heaven. In just a few minutes I can show you from the Bible how you can know that if you died today, you would go to heaven. All you have to know are four things:
1. You have sinned.
Romans 3:23 says, "for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God"
No matter how good you are, or how religious you are, you still have come short of God's glory,
because you are a sinner.
2. There is a price on sin.
Romans 6:23 says, " for the wages of sin is death..."
Just as you work and receive a wage for your work, the same is true with sin. If you die without
your sins being forgiven, the price for your sin will be hell for all eternity.
3. Jesus Christ paid the penalty for your sin.
Romans 5:8 says, "But God commendeth His love toward us, in that while we were yet
sinners, Christ died for us."
No church, no good works, no religion can get you to heaven. If we could work our way to
heaven, there would be no reason for Jesus to have died on the cross. Jesus died for our sins, and He is the only way men can get to heaven.
4. You need to personally ask Jesus to forgive you your sins and take you to heaven when
you die.
Romans 10:13 says, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
Here is how you call upon the Lord:
A. Do you know you are a sinner?
B. Do you realize that you are lost without Jesus as your personal savior?
C. Do you believe that Jesus died on the cross and shed his blood for your sins?
If you would like to trust Jesus to save you and take you to heaven, just ask Him.
Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, please forgive me of my sin, and take me to heaven when I
die. Thank you for dying for me. Amen
If you sincerely trusted Christ as your Savior, please let us rejoice with you by E-mailing us or by
leaving a note in our guestbook (that way others may see it and rejoice also). |
