It is with the deepest of honours that I display these awards.  They have been given to me out of the kindness and generosity of others and I would like the people that gave them to me to know how very much I appreciate them.

Please take a moment to visit the wonderful sites of these "Angels in Disguise".  They are the reason that this site will continue.  Their encouragement to share my story and experiences have been appreciated in ways they'll never know and have given me the strength to carry on.

All awards being displayed on this page are just that - awards.  I do not apply for awards, therefore, those that are given freely mean the world to me and I display them with honours.

This award was given to me very shortly after opening this site on January 22, 2000.  To say it was unexpected would be to put it very mildly.  The following comments were included and very much appreciated "I just finished reading your site and I made this award for you.  I hope you like it and accept it for your pages.  You have done a remarkable job.  I actually learned something.  Hugs, Penny"

The above two awards were presented to me on January 26, 2000.  I was very overwhelmed by the message that was included and my heartfelt thanks goes to AngelEyes for them.  "It takes courage to stand up even on the internet and admit to illness, whether it is mental or physical.  I've found that with Chronic Pain, they go hand in hand." "I think your story will only help more of us."

This beautiful award was left in my guestbook on February 2, 2000.  I thought I'd share the kind and wonderful message that was attached to it. "Hi Di.. Your site is Beautiful! You've done a great job! Keep up the good work! (((Hugs))). I would be honored if you would accept this."  Thanks so much Laine.  My attempts are not in vain and I appreciate your kindness.

This beautiful award was also left in my guestbook on February 2, 2000 and accepted with honours.  I thought I'd share the kind and wonderful message that was attached to it as well.  "And I would like to leave you this gift for you do deserve it for standing up and letting everyone know you are a real person with feelings and lots of love to give. Your sister in Jesus Christ. Barb"

This beautiful award was very much a surprise as I received it in my e-mail on February 8, 2000.  I am including the wonderful and warm comments that accompanied the award.  "HI, I had a look at your pages and You deserve this award, Your pages are wonderful!!!!!!! Diva Stacey"   Thank you from the bottom of my heart Diva Stacey, this award will be cherished in more ways than you'll ever know.

This award could not have been sent to me at a more appropriate time.  I received the above award with the following message on February 28, 2000 in my email.  "Dear Di,
Guess what!! Someone in Misker’s Den-izens thinks you are so special. The Special Awards committee was contacted recently by Penny and asked to honor you with this "Misker’s Den-izen Special Award". We are very pleased to award it to you. Please place it on your page with pride, knowing that you are loved and cared about. I am also attaching their e-mail so that you may know the reason for the award. Congratulations for doing what Den-izens do best, "Sharing your Heart". Your Caring "Special Awards Committee". ~Da’Bee~ President, Nannie, Special Assistant."  Please click on the award above to find out just how blessed I am to be a member of Misker's Den-izens.

This award was also received in my e-mail on May 29, 2000.

One thing that Bruce did not know is that I had just been released from the hospital again on May 15, 2000 for mental health issues.  The following message was sent with it and I display this award with great honour.

"Hi Di, I have visited your site and would like to give you this award for people who have a story to tell, and have shown the courage to tell it.  Although my site is primarily about mental health, my award is for all people who have a story to tell, that I consider important.  I hope that you will accept it.  Thank you for sharing your life with others.  This award cannot be applied for.  I give it freely to people who I feel deserve it.  You are one of them. :)  Take Care  Bruce"
