It is with the deepest of honours that I display these awards.  They have been given to me out of the kindness and generosity of others and I would like the people that gave them to me to know how very much I appreciate them.

Please take a moment to visit the wonderful sites of these "Angels in Disguise".  They are the reason that this site will continue.  Their encouragement to share my story and experiences have been appreciated in ways they'll never know and have given me the strength to carry on.

All awards being displayed on this page are just that - awards.  I do not apply for awards, therefore, those that are given freely mean the world to me and I display them with honours.

The above award was also received in my e-mail on May 29, 2000 after replying to Bruce to thank him for my previous award that he had presented to me.  What an honour it is to be the first recipient of this award.  I am so blessed to have received this.  "Dear Di,  Thank you so much for you message.  At this stage, I am only just releasing awards, and only last night created the attached one.  I would be honoured if you would accept it as the first recipient.  You are showing a true courage that is rare amongst others.  I don't believe in fate or kismet, but I do believe in the hand of God sending me in certain directions.  Your direction is one of them. Take Care Love Bruce."

It is with the deepest of honours that I accept the above award.  This award was found in my email on June 8, 2000 with the following comments:  "I'd be honored if you would accept my Unmasked Award for telling your story so honestly and for helping others understand this disease. Bless you for that!  Congratulations on a job well done hon. Good work!"

What an incredible honour to have received this in my mail box on January 4, 2001.
