What is Wicca?
Wicca is a Pagan (non-christian...not anti-christian ) Religion that dates back to the Celts and to the Druids of the british Isles. wiccans unlike their ancestors do NOT do any kind of sacrifice or carry any kind of hate.
We believe in a god and a goddess , which makes us woman friendly. wicca makes every person responsible for thier own actions ( no more the devil made me do it, or it was gods will) .
We live by the three fold law "what ever you send out comes back to you three fold be it good or bane." meaning : you choose your own fate, and how you treat others is how you will live .
one of our main redes are " do as you will if in doing so you harm none". which if you ask me is more restricting than "do unto others". because harm none is harm none physically, emotionally, or spiritually. that means in a sense "thoughts can kill" no matter how others treat you.
Wiccans are a nature loving group of non-judgemental people. we range from those who do their best to recycle to those who take harm none to the point of being a vegetarian. The best part of this is in our own heart we are right, and so are our brothers and sisters.
we do not discriminate on the basis of race, creed , color, sexual preference , religion or in any other way. We do not hate any person for any reason.
this is a hard path to follow (especially if someone cuts you off in traffic) but worth it in the end.
we also believe in reincarnation to the point of reincarnating until you become your best self and then you continue to the summerland (heaven for christians ) .
we do not worship (or believe for that matter) in satan. satan is the "bad guy" in the Judeo , christian sect and since we do not believe in satan we could not possibly worship him.
my personal belief about religion in general is "religion is like the spokes of an old wagon wheel : we all come from different directions and are heading on a different path but we all end up in the same place...centered.................except for the satan worshipers...sorry i just don't get them
