Fishing can be enjoyed from the beach, boat hire, our famous pier or book yourself on one of the many charter vessels for a day trip or a 2 to 5 day trip. There is a huge variety of fish to be caught in our deeper waters including Coral Trout, Red Emperor, Snapper, Maori Cod, Sweetlip, Cobia, Amberjack, Potato Cod, Silver and Golden Trevally, Scarlet Sea Perch and too many more to mention. Fishing from the beach or Pier might find you hooking Flathead, Bream, Whiting, Mackerel, Tailor or Trevally.
