WENDY AND MITZY PLAY TAG
The children can pretend that they are Wendy and Mitzy, crawling on hands and knees, being a cat. They could also make the hissing sound
Wendy, the cat had been sleeping curled up in a tight ball with her tail over her eyes most of the morning. A flea started to bite her so she sat up and raised her back paw, scratching behind her ear.

Mitzy, the black and white kitten who loved to play games, walked up to Wendy and touched her on the nose. That started everything. They decided to play tag in the house. Wendy skipped into the hall, tagged Mitzy and raced into the living room. She jumped over the sofa and crawled under the coffee table, where she laid down to rest. Mitzy pranced up to Wendy. Tag, you're it Wendy! Wendy crouched down low, her chin touching the floor and her tail flicking wildly. She was ready to spring on Mitzy who was scratching a flea. Wendy leaped, ran and creeped under the bed. She sat down to think, where is Mitzy? She listened: she turned her head in all directions and breathed deeply. Wham! Mitzy jumped on top of her, pushing her over and rolling her on the floor.

Wendy didn't like this so she got up and walked away. Mitzy wished to play more but Wendy turned around, showed her teeth and made a hissing sound. This told Mitzy that she didn't like the rough play and wanted to quit. Wendy walked to the bedroom, jumped on the pillows on the bed. She tried to find a soft spot to rest so she circled the spot several times and laid down in a ball with her tail covering her eyes to keep the light out.
