Azrael, Kitty Extraordinaire

Behold the cat!

My name's Azrael (no Smurf jokes, please) and I'm the embodiment of feline perfection. Like any Southern lady, I'm not revealing my age, but let's just say that I was born in Marietta, Georgia way before Socks became First Cat. My sisters and I were liberated from a pet store by my buddy David Shepherd when we were wee little things only a few months old. He's now a practicing kitty (and dog) physician back home in Georgia--I'll always be eternally grateful to him! He introduced me to Tony (my human) with whom I've lived ever since. I now reside in Champaign, Illinois while Tony and Crystal are slaving away on their dissertations at the U of I. Before that, I helped them finish their M.A.'s at Vanderbilt University (Go 'Dores!) in Nashville , Tennessee. Will they never be finished with this school foolishness?!

You may have read on the Sims Central report that I've been having some kidney problems. (You can read more about it on the Chronic Renal Failure Page.) Well, not to worry. I've been visiting my new friend Dr. Jennifer Brinson over at the U of I's Small Animal Clinic and she's been taking really good care of me. I have to say that I've been a very good patient and have been taking all my medicine (even the part with needles) very well and am still looking and feeling great! So for all you kitties out there, remember, the vet is your friend!
