Azrael's Boo Award of Excellence

Boo Award

This coveted award is not something that you can apply for. It's just something that Azrael grants as she sees fit. Below are the few that she has granted this stamp of approval!

May 1999 -- Jennifer Lash's Blood Ties review on our main book page

Note: we've had a bit of a discussion around here on what actually qualifies as literary excellence. Azrael has put her paws down and insisted that any book that she deems worthy can be said to have literary excellence, and she's the boss! So, whether or not we all agree on the "literary" merits of the book, Azrael is pointing out the book's excellence with this award. Just wanted to make that clear....now, back to work.

June 1999 -- Diane Gabaldon's Outlander review on historical fiction page

July 1999 -- Karin Boye's Kallocain review on Crystal's new page of great Scandinavian Literature
