Not only is Crystal's brother Jeff an all around great guy, he's also extremely talented. He's a great cook (he did our whole Thanksgiving dinner in a jiffy!). He has his own welding business where he does custom made furniture, gates and stuff. He's smart and generally handy [I'm not even trying to butter him up right now or anything!]. He is also an extremely talented artist. He did the above cartoon for us, just for fun, while he was here for Thanksgiving. The next two are examples of the on-going story he is doing for Ashlin.
Ashlin is really into digimon (she sang the theme song for us a dozzen times or more while she was here) so Jeff made her a digimon character. Her sidekick Tiamon digiballs into Dragomon. Together Jeff and Ashlin create a continuing storyline for these characters. Of course, good guys need to have bad guys to battle. That's what Dark Manda is for:
Our kitties had to get into the fun, too. After we spent the day at the Natural History Museum in NYC, Jeff had fun drawing our kittens' alter-egos.
We're not quite sure if the latter is Mimi's vision of herself or whether it's Phoebe's vision of Mimi, but we are certain that Bisquick sure is proud of his own fierceness.
