Meet Our New Kittens!

Hi,
I'm Bisquick....
Well, really my name is
Neo Mikey Bisquick, the
Comet Kitty
I was born some time in November 1999

Hi,
My name is Muffin Mimi Belle
Tony and Crystal adopted us both at the Champaign County
Humane Society February 18, 2000 to keep Phoebe (and them) company.
They've all been kind of lonely since Azrael crossed the rainbow
bridge, you know, and we distract them from their sadness. They
were pretty sure they wanted to adopt a little boy, because they
figured that Phoebe would maybe adjust more easily to him, but
people said that two kittens would be better than one. Well,
they showed up at the shelter and there were only a few babies
and they were all boys. Next to the cage where little Neo (they
called him Isaac) was, there was Muffin (they called her Mudskipper
-- not very feminine, huh?) and Tony fell in love with her. She
reminded him of Azrael's sister Mumar. Muffin, although only
about 11 months old had recently had a litter of kittens herself
(not a very good role model for teenage girls, we have to admit!)
and the volunteers all raved about what a good mommy she was.
Well, as soon as Tony and Crystal brought the Muffin and Neo
Bisquick together in the visiting room, Muffin proved what a
good mommy she is by walking straight up to him and grooming
him. It was clear to everybody that we were a great pair from
the start! We love each other, sleep together, groom each other
and play together all the time. Phoebe doesn't like us yet, but
there's hope. She will at least stay in the same room with us
now.
