Things have changed this past year. First Azrael crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Then, Tony and Crystal brought home Muffin and Bisquick who made my life miserable. Well, actually Bisquick isn't so bad. Muffin chases me and I spent a week under the sofa before we moved from Champaign! So, Crystal and Tony decided to let me have my own room at our new house. Although I used to enjoy having breakfast with Tony or sitting with Crystal in the big chair, now I get to sleep with them! (that used to be Azrael's privilege!) Sure, the kittens have nearly a whole house to run around in, but I've got the best room. I have a big bed to sleep on, plus a padded cedar chest as well. Sometimes, I like to curl up in the closet or in a snuggler under the bed. I have my own toy box, a scratchy box, a scratching post and two windows, too. I've really come up in the world! You know, it took me a while, but I've finally got the hang of this snuggling thing. I enjoy sleeping next to Crystal's head on her pillow and getting under the covers if it's cold. Gee, if I'd only known what I'd been missing!

Azrael was my nemesis. Actually, I would have liked to play with her -- at first anyway -- but she just never liked me. In honor of our strong opinions (we take after our mom that way) we started a web page called Kitty Critics' Corner. I haven't been able to keep it up much since Azrael crossed the rainbow bridge last year, but there are still many interesting reviews there. Maybe I can get those darn kittens to do some work?

Here are some of my old photos. I have been a little bit better about letting mom take photos of me since then.

Phoebe with kitty carneval

Here I am with the kitty carneval. Below is my
friend Louie. He kitty sat for me once and I was so desperately lonely that I let him hold me!

Phoebe & AzraelHere I am with Azrael "sharing " the view. Notice my wonderful "Da-Bird" feather.
