Her human sent us this short bio:
Miss Suzanna was paralyzed almost 2 years ago from vaccines given improperly. She was in the hospital 4 days. They now call her their "miracle kitty" because most kitties don't live, much less recovery as much as she has. We believe that it has been our love for each other that has pulled her through.
Some days she has great difficulty walking, and later she is chasing her brother through the house. She can't climb up high like she used to love, had to take down her kitty tree that went to the ceiling. When she falls over, she just gets up and keeps on going.
She is still incontinent when she is sleeping. Her legs will start kicking so hard she knocks herself on the floor. We have towels and sheets on all the furniture, we put a large pillow and blanket behind the chair she goes to sleep on then falls on the floor, so she wont fall on the hard floor.
She is such a brave happy little (7 pounds) cat that continues to give me much love and delight. I still have to do many extra things for her, but I love her so much that it doesn't bother me to clean her little butt when she has fallen in the litter box, and she is so good and just lays there while I do.
She is still the boss! She still lets Governor know she is top cat!
