Johanas died twelve days after his third birthday and is buried at the Maysville Cemetery, Scott Co., IA. George fell off the chicken coop at the age of eight years and four months and died of a concussion 10 Apr 1895. He's buried at Riverview Cemetery, Rock Rapids, Lyon Co., IA.  John and Mary retired from the farm and moved into Rock Rapids, Lyon Co., IA. Mary died 1 Jan 1927 and John died 14 Jan 1928.
