Great Mysteries

I N T R O D U C T I O N

Over the past couple of years, we've really gotten interested in reading mysteries, particularly British mysteries. Here you will find info on some of what we feel are the best, and we may also include info on authors who, in our opinion, are best avoided.

This site concentrates on paperback novels, rather than on the collectible aspects of hardback editions, first editions, etc. You will find appropriate links to that type of information where I have it. If you know of any particularly good sites, please let me know the so I can put up a link to them.

The date given under the title of each book is the earliest copyright date. This is given in order that you may judge when the book was first published, as books from different eras can have a different "feel".

The photo accompanying a particular book represents one printing of that title, not necessarily the first edition.

Since many of these books are hard to find, I have also included search links for items at auction on Ebay, and to items in print at Amazon.com.

Mobil Mystery!

Does anybody know where I can find copies of some of these on VHS video? I'd LOVE to see some of the Campion episodes. If you know (or have any good ideas) please contact me.
