Amazing Grace, 2000 years
Since Jesus Christ was born
When He came down to rule the earth
The only begotten son.

Born in a stable of humble beginnings
He lay down His head on the straw
And when He looked into the sky
A bright shining star that he saw.

The star that led the wise men to
The manger there where He lay
It was that humble beginning
That the world remembers today.

Amazing Grace 2000 years
Since He walked among men on this earth
He healed the sick, to blind gave sight
He was the King from birth

No man has ever walked this earth
or risen to the sky
Who was deserving in any way
But for our sins He died.

It was amazing, right from the beginning
His birth had been planned for all men
He willing walked up Calvary's Hill
And His life there he gave for our sins.

Amazing Grace 2000 years
He came for to live and to reign
He died but the stone was rolled away
He rose and today He's the same.
