His mother left when he was only two days, and then the people of the halls were forced to care for the infant. A great man by the name of Garaloga always admired Mazium's smile, even as an infant. One day Garaloga decided to take the burden of childcare off of the shoulders of the elders at the halls, and took Mazium as his own. </div> <bR> <div> After only four years Mazium was getting interested in fighting. Garaloga then started to train the young Mazium, and by the age of six, Mazium could defeat some of the Dream Hall trainees. Being a single parent and a protector of the halls wasn't easy for Garaloga, and soon he realized that he could no longer care for Mazium. On Mazium's seventh birthday, he was sent back into the care of the elders. </div> <bR> <div> Only weeks later Mazium decided that he wanted to continue training, and left the elders' care. He then set off for a small part of the Dream Halls that was hidden underground on the very eastern side of the halls' property. There he was brought in by two very strong fighters named, Eijen and Kokaru. These two started to train Mazium, and made him into an even better fighter. </div> <bR> <div> When Mazium was nine years old he convinced Eijen and Kokaru to put him into the annual Dream Halls warrior tournament. At only nine, Mazium made it to within 4 people of a championship. He then went back to Eijen and Kokaru and kept training. </div> <bR> <div> Two years later Mazium heard that the Dream Halls were having another tournament to decide the new Hall gaurds. When Maz remembered that Garaloga had been a hall guard he quickly went and signed up for the tournament. Hundreds of fighters joined the tourney, but Mazium thought he had a chance. Even though he was only eleven at the time Eijen thought he could win. Kokaru thought differently, because he also joined the tournament. Mazium and Kokaru both made it into the semifinals, and had to fight each other. Mazium lost. </div> <bR> <div> Mazium then left the care of Eijen and Kokaru and went to the elders for advice on what to do from there. After speaking with the elders he decided that he'd ask for training from Tooijuraji(Tij) After seeing what Mazium was made of Tij decided to train him. It was rough because Tij held no mercy when training him. After every day of training, Mazium would be tired and sore. It paid off in the end because at the age of 15 Mazium was the third strongest fighter that the Drean Halls had. Tij was the strongest, and the Mazium knew this. When Mazium reached 19 he left Tij, and the Dream Halls. Zeta, the bio-android navigation unit of the Hope Star. Unlike Melfina, Zeta's one tough little cookie, with a smart mouth to match. After the whole Leyline incident, Zeta is the only person who now has access to the Leyline anymore, but she doesn't act like the does. During a salvage mission, Ron finds Zeta in the same kind of suitcase Melfina was in, after she wakes up, she slaps Ron and tells him that he shouldn't be looking at naked girls. Surprised that it is an 11-year-old, red-haired, blue-eyed girl, Ron offers her a place on his ship in exchange for her restoring Harry's file. Alida agrees and soon they are on their way. Not long after Alida's arrival, they come across Zeta, the bio-android for the Hope Star. The two instantly like each other, despite Alida's boughts with silliness. Later, she hacks into the Outlaw Star to let Harry talk to Melfina, and Gene and Jim track the hacker down to Ron's ship. Gene instantly accuses Ron and Harry of the initial hacking, then is surprised when Ron introduces him to "Radical Dream". Again, surprise follows after the discovery that the elusive hacker is a young girl. He also gave her a long, wooden staff as a weapon she could use against her enemies. She also learns to navigate ships and becomes an excellent mechanic (runs in the family :) ). Amina and Cye were both on a mission to find the pirates responsible for their parents' death, but tragically enough, when she was 15, during a battle with pirates, they kidnap Cye, who was 19, and destroy their ship, which left Amina homeless and alone. For a whole year, she wonders aimlessly (hacking into ship systems, stealing them etc..) looking for her brother, which she believes are the same pirates, who killed her parents. Recently, she tried to steal the Outlaw Star but is stopped by the infamous Gene Starwind.
