My mother has always been a hard-working woman. In her past, as a kid, she was more like how my sister Amber is; kinda reckless. My mother was something of a tom-boy, and because of my grandfather, she kinda grew up around a bar. She made a mistake when she thought she had fallen in love with my father, Jeffery Owen Hook, at the age of fourteen. My mother was only fifteen when she gave birth to me, therefore, my granny ended up raising me along with my mother. I was a spoilt brat. I guess my mother tries to make up for her mistakes she made in the past. She has done so much more than just make up for her mistakes. Besides, we all make mistakes; i've made plenty.
My sisters were born when my mother was eighteen. Their father Randall Dunn was no saint, trust me. My mother's teenage years and early twenties were not pleasant. She was forced to grow up too fast, and the first two men she was involved with treated her badly.
My mother triumphed, however. She married Eddie Apple, and he turned things around for our family. My mom has worked so hard through the years, and continues to do so today, for everything she has. She simply wants to see her three children grow up right, and have successful lives. Seeing us grow up heathly and do good brings happiness to her. She also enjoys fitness and exercise at gyms like the Y. Whether it be to take care of her children, or her own health, my mother is a constant hard-worker. I love my mother with all my heart.

UPDATE: December 2000: Well, my stepdad Eddie seems to be going insane. I dunno, but he is really losing it. His dead-beat drop-out kids hang around more often, and he smokes weed with them in the garage! My mom and him have been arguing about this often. Lately, Eddie just seems like he is losing it....going through a mid-life crisis. And him hanging out with 15 and 16 year old kids and getting high with them is really sad. After much much fighting, my mother and Eddie have separated. My sisters and I have lost any respect we once had for this man . . . he should be ashamed of his recent actions. We believe my mom is better off without him anyways.....
