Fun family pics
Mick, Chris' brother, and his wife Reg (short for Regina), came down to visit us from Queensland. Here are the two brothers, Mick on the left and Chris on the right, with our two nieces, Sarah (L) and Rachel (R) - and ofcourse me in the middle!
My two SILs - Reg (L) and Helen (R), with Sarah and Rachel.
(Reg is Mick's wife and Helen is Chris' sister)
Rachel (in the air) and Sarah had great fun on the trampoline.
Cameras at 20 paces!
Basketball competition! Uncle Mick is trying to beat his last
effort with Rachel looking on.
We all went out for dinner on Father's Day to the restaurant where Lauren works - she was chef that night and did a fine job! My mum is at the top of the picture, then my dad, Chris and Danielle. Food was great!
As you can see by Reg's face we were having fun! Andy (blue shirt) and Tony (good friends) are at the top of the picture, and I think Reg is laughing at something Mick said!
Aunty Reg and Danielle being pretty silly!
All we seem to have done when Reg and Mick came down was eat!!
Here we are at a lovely little cafe at a local nursery. The kids thought it
was great because they had the day off school!
From left to right - Lauren, Reg, Mum (MIL), me and Danielle.
And again, but this time we have Reg, Lauren, Mick, Mum (MIL) and Danielle.
We also paid a visit to Granddad. I'm sure he was laughing at us all because the wind was blowing a gale, and I had to hang on to my wig for fear it would blow off!
This is our Wattle tree at the beginning of our driveway. Isn't it gorgeous.
They only flower in winter and are a really colourful display, as well as
smelling so sweet.
(After I took this photo, we had some realy high winds and the poor thing has gone! Wattles have very shallow roots and our soil is very sandy. Not a good match for high wind days!)
Another flower in our garden is this Grevillea. Our native honeyeaters love this flower for it's sweet nectar.
This is another one. There a sooooo many varieties.
