Cyberbuddies Pages
In the course of my cyber-travelling around the world, I’ve met quite a few cyberbuddies who also have web pages. My aim is to use this page to link up our pages. What a patchwork of interests, hobbies and passions we’re going to have!
If you’d like your page linked to mine, e-mail me and we can get it happening! I’d love to have loads more links!
I made a very dear friend when I joined an internet listserv dealing with Multiple Myeloma. Her name was June Brazil. She was a very clever, witty, educated and loving lady. She left us for a more peaceful existence in December ‘99. I still miss her terribly. Please read her myeloma story and the many other survivor stories at Myeloma Survivor Stories.
CJ is a very special little boy who is raging his very own serious war against Leukemia. CJ has ALL. His page has some links to his favourite things - he loves Baseball with a passion!
Kim’s Cancer Links is a really special page. Kim has done a wonderful job putting together some lovely pages about some very special people. You can also see her children’s pages and some fun links she’s put together.
Elaine Kemp has a terrific page full of info and fun. She's had a bone marrow transplant and a stem cell transplant. Very informative pages on cancer. Loads to look at. Serious and funny. (Elaine's changed her web page's address and I haven't got the new one yet!)
GrannyBarb is a very special lady I met a few years ago through June Brazil.
Her site is full of info and links to other sites about Leukemia.
Alan did a wonderful thing for some-one.......he became a bone marrow donor
for a 14 year old boy with Leukemia. Read his story and find out how to
register with the Bone Marrow Registry.
Our own Danielle was born with a heart problem. At the ripe old age of three weeks, she was diagnosed with Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome. Very scary in a baby! We nearly lost her on a couple of occasions!
Do you fancy yourself with green fingers? Trudi has a page the tells all about plants and gardening. She also has loads of info re Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
This interesting page has been put together by a Dental Surgeon, and is dedicated to providing better dental health and education, for diabetic children living in the Philippines. Eventually, this service will be extended to include those children who have to go through the rigors of chemo.
This is a site of a cute little poppet who has Aplastic Anemia and is transfusion dependant. Her name is Katy. Please stop by and have a look.
This site is a home page of a list friend of mine, George. He's put together a very comprehensive site about his family, his interests and his much loved motorbikes. He's put loads of links on his site to a huge collection of interests from playing games online, to radio stations, skiing and model planes........too many to list, you'll have to go look!
