Home-made Playdough

2 cups flour
1 cup salt
2 cups water
2 Tablespoons cooking oil
4 teaspoons cream of tartar
food coloring

Cook ingredients in sauce pan until stiff and lumpy. Dump out onto wax paper. Knead utnil it reaches play-dough consistency.

Home-made Finger Paints

2 cups liquid starch
1 cup Ivory Snow flakes
Food coloring

Beat startch and flakes with rotarty beater or lectric mixer until the volume is tripled. Divide and add food coloring as desired. Store in covered containers in refrigerator.

Face Paint

2 tablespoons white shortening
5 teaspoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon flour
3 to 4 drops glycerin
food coloring

Mix ingredients together like paste. Add colorings.
