*For those of you who own a singer, elna or europress: Buy a cheap pair of fleece gardening gloves. Cut off the tips and wear them when pressing an item. They will prevent hand and finger burns, yet allow your fingers to be free to smooth whatever is being pressed.

*To make your sewing more efficient, always sew as many seams as you can before you press them. Always press your seams though. Pressing gives the garment a more professional look.
