Writing Projects
 Studies have shown that students write better
when they have a REAL audience(duh!)
With that in mind, my second graders
are offered the opportunity
to be published on these webpages.
The only catch: the writing has to be PERFECT!

Writing Projects for the 1999-2000 School Year
Student-Written "Book Report" Tests

This project was initiated at the end of the 1998-1999 school year.
Students read books from our class library and then wrote tests for those books.

The tests are available for ANY class to take!
We hope you will enjoy TAKING the tests as much as we enjoyed MAKING them!

These include wonderful poems,
letters to the teacher, and six different
collaborative projects which made use of the internet in the classroom!
