On Thursday, March 2, we celebrated
the birthday of Dr. Seuss. The celebration began at 9:00, when our
school librarian read Green Eggs and Ham over the intercom.
We learned that over 13,000 students listened to that book at the
same time, all across America!
Later in the day, we made a list of
all the Dr. Seuss books we had heard of. Many students brought books
from home. We also made the "Cat in the Hat" hats that you can see
in this picture!
