2. Objective: Students will record information in graph form, given objects and a sheet of unlabelled graph paper.

3. Materials required: Assorted painted and unpainted wooden shapes, graph paper.

5. Teacher Directions: Gather wooden shapes (available at craft stores) Paint some. Leave others blank.

6. Student Directions: Make a graph to show how many. Be sure to label!

(In my room, some activities are stored in very small video cassette boxes. Students must get paper from a labelled file box. Directions for MY room are shown on the pink card in the photo. If you have room, it's nice to put everything together in one box!)
