Welcome to Becky's Page

This is a picture of Becky's littermates.

This is Becky--! She was given as a Xmas gift to an 8 year old girl. A mistake. That family kept her for 6 months, considered her "unmanageable" and gave her away to some "friends". These "friends" kept her another 7 months, also proclaimed her unmanageable--said she was digging, barking, etc. She was allowed in the garage only--she had little human contact the last 7 months before we found her. We suspect she was abused--she came to us afraid of sticks, papers, feet and hands. She had never seen a river, or a lake. She was amazed at the sight of the Columbia River! Our intent when our Vet called us and asked if we could keep the dog for a while, as she had come back to the breeder and breeders dogs were "trying to kill her" was to just foster her for a while. Some friends of ours were in Mexico, they wanted the dog upon their return. But--Becky & I fell in love, and the rest, as they say, is history!!

Oh, Becky how you have grown. You are 8 and a half here. This was taken at our friend Suzanne's cabin

All the show folks talk about

"snow nose"--is this what they mean??

This photo was taken at a true landmark in the

Relationship between Becky, alpha bitch--and

Earnie, the newcomer. This was the first time

Becky allowed the boy to lay down next to her!

It was a rocky road at first---!

Peggy Sue was 2 months in this photo! Becky, who had come to live with us just two weeks before we brought Peggy Sue home, was just over a year old. Becky was still less than thrilled to be sharing "her" home with Peggy Sue.

Becky shows her colors at the National! 1998!

Becky is a rescue dog, and as such qualified to be in the "Rescue Parade" at the '98 National. Here she is decked out with her green ribbon, with Michael & I as the proud parents! This was indeed a marvelous day!

This is Becky's "I love you" look. Melts my heart!

What a pretty face!

Becky can make herself comfy, as you can see in this picture! One of her favorite places is this recliner chair. Particularly if I'm in it, too! She's quite the lap dog.
