We've been traveling to GBI for nearly 20 years (and 4 more to Cable Beach) and like to think we can help folks headed for a vacation on this beautiful island.  After viewing the photos, trip reports and other areas of the site, please feel free to send an email with any questions you may have.  We'll try to answer as honestly as we can.  We are simple vacationers who happen to have fallen in love with the Bahamas and are not in any way connected with anyone but ourselves.  We'll try to give you honest and straightforward answers, some good and some not so good, to your specific questions.  We only hope we can help people visiting for the first time.

GBI Trip Report;  18-24 August 2004  This report describes conditions the week BEFORE Frances and Jeanne hit GBI.  There are some references to post hurricane conditions but not many.
