A rhino in Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania. This is a black rhino, although
you wouldn't think so by its covering of dust. The so called 'white' rhinos
in southern Africa are actually called 'weidt', an Afrikaans word meaning
'wide', refering to their snout. Note the bird. They are usually constant
companions. The bird gets food, the rhino gets rid of ticks.
These animals are seriously endangered!
