Finding Work
[Previous Page] [Next Page] [Up] [Home Page] [Mail] [Contents]

The best way to find work is via the employment agencies. There are many around so get your passport, your CV then dress up smart and hit the city.
The big agencies like ManPower / Hayes can be found in most cities.
If you visit ManPower in Melbourne, you may speak to Carol or the lovely Natasha (boys you'll have calm yourslef when you see her), mention a certain
Mark Overend from England and Im sure they'll help you out.

ManPower Recruitment

I started work as an telesales operator, initially it was on outbound then we moved to Inbound calls handling sales and customer service enquiries for a telephone company.
After a little while, I was interviewed and appointed Team Leader for the campaign.

Robert Southall & Angela Swift

So from being some backpacker trying to earm a few dollars, I was then a supervisor for all these people.
There was alot involved in the job itself and Rachel my boss soon cracked her whip to get us in line, but I loved it and as a lot of the staff were backpackers, they related well to me and we had one of the best working environments I've ever been employed in.

Of course where there is an office, there is always office gossip, and here was no different, was rumoured I didnt get to where i was in the company from just hard work!, but of course I did.

Jon (the) Cuizon

Working hard they all are!
