Where it all Started

Sydney, NSW is the site of Captain Cook's landing in the county.
Circular Quay, where all the ferry activity occurs in Sydney is where Cook first touched land and established the very first Australian settlement back in 1788.

New South Wales covers some 802,000 sq km and has a population of some 6 million residents with many more flocking to the tourist capital of Australia Sydney every year.

Sydney is built around Port Jackon Harbour and is such a wonderful setting and not surprising Cook chose this place to begin his settlement.
Sydney is beautiful, but lets not get trapped in the city,
the Pacific Highway runs north and south from the city and passes through great scenery and some fantasic beaches with some of the best surf around.

Batemans Bay

The Blue Mountains

Byron Bay

Other places of Interest including the weed capital of Aus (Nimbin)
