Effect of nanoclay on properties of Polyolefins focusing on mechanical,thermal and barrier  
properties							              	                                                  10/03 - Present		

• Post Graduate Research Project under Dr.Paul Blackie
  • Nano sized fillers were added to polyolefins by twin screw compounding using different process set-ups
  • Material shows improvement in mechanical, thermal & heat deflection properties at the same time.
  • Maximum level of improvement was found out by using comparison study of differenrt nanoclays (see more in nanocomposite work) and different addition levels.

• Feasibility and development of automobile fuel tank by FRP technology under Dr.M.Zurale 9/01- 3/02
  • Checked out feasibility of thermoset plastic reinforced with layered glass fibers to existing sheet metal also prepared novel design prototype of fuel tank.
  • Also prepared detail costing for a manufacturing set-up of above product.

  • Joined as a trainee engineer in production department in?n?nthis injection molding company.
  • Work involved was, looking after daily production of injection molding machines and quality control of molded parts
