A small switching road, the Buffalo Creek was famous for its Flour bag logo, seen on many of its box cars and it steam and Alco power. It switched the flour mills of the Buffalo, New York area for many years prior to its absorption by Conrail, being jointly owned by the Erie and Lehigh Valley railroads
