Cold Night on YSP68

Waiting in the clear at the south end of Hoffman Av. MSSPR and its pushers are tying up the main and picking up 2 tracks. The thermometer at the yard office says it is -8 and the wind is whippinh pretty good. I am glad the work load is light tonight ! I sweat even with a snowmobile suit on, however; the switches do not throw easily on such a night as this.

J.P. Williams, the most laid-back engineer in the world. J.P. hired out 12 years ago in Bill, Wyoming. Additional track capacity forced him to move to Proviso, and he took engineer training while he was there. He grabbed a posting for the Twin Cities almost immediately after schooling, and likes it here a lot better than Chicago !
