Arundel Cottage in Historic Old Town Pinehurst Short term vacation rental - daily/weekends/weekly/monthly
The cottage is tastefully furnished and impeccably clean. There are 2 large living areas. One in the front of the house and one in the back. They are separated by a fully equipped kitchen and a dining porch. There is a dressing room and two full baths with showers. There are 3 bedrooms. Two large bedrooms have 3 single beds. We can make kings in these rooms upon request. The back bedroom has two singles. There is a piano in the parlor. There is a screened-in front porch (for smoking) off of the front parlor . The back living room spills out onto a garden patio with a hot tub that seats 4. And there is a large vegetable/herb/flower garden! A relaxing shade hammock and a tree swing. We provide a croquet set, horseshoes, and bicycles for outdoor recreation.
The cottage is centrally located, only a short walk to the village and convenient to restaurants, shops and tourist destinations such as golf, racing, equestrian events, antiquing, potteries, hiking, hunting.
What makes it particularly special is it’s location! It is one and a half blocks from the famed Pinehurst No.2 Golf Course, home of the 1999 and the 2005 Men's US Open Golf Championship! The Womens 2001 US Open Tournament was held at Pine Needles. Moore County has earned international recognition with golf courses designed by the likes of Donald Ross, Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, and Gary Player. With more than 40 golf courses within a 25 mile-radius, the area offers a variety of year-round golfing opportunities for the novice to the pro.
