The Mt.Burg Community
Improvement Association, Inc. was formed to bring fellowship and fun
to the people living
in the surrounding area. The annual carnival, previously known as
the Fall Festival, sponsored by the Mountainburg School District, is now
being sponsored by the
CIA. The
CIA is proud to
announce the 1998
"Community Hoe Down"!

At present, we are just beginning our association of members, and
would like everyone that is interested in the community to join!
Membership fees: $10.00
Responsibilities include: Working at least 30 minutes in a CIA
booth
All other responsibilities are distributed on a volunteer basis.
Our love for the
community and the town of Mountainburg has brought us together to work
toward a common goal. All proceeds from the Community Hoe Down will
be used to improve the community in the capacity dictated by the official
members of the CIA. A meeting to vote on improvement decisions, is
tentatively scheduled for Monday, Nov. 23,
at 6:30 pm, at the City Complex, Mountainburg, AR.
