Category A Mini Suite on Regal Princess
A PARNAMI Cruise Page

Mini Suites on Regal Princess are comfortably spacious.  Two twin beds join together to form a seamless queen.  The bed's placement, along the wall opposite the verandah window, permits recumbent guests to watch the passing scenery.  It's so restful, don't count on being awake too long doing so.
The beds are genuine, complete with mattress AND bedspring.  These are not glorified cots as have been popping up on ships of other lines.   Unfortunately, the box spring reduces the space available beneath the bed for storage.
The sitting area consists of a couch, two chairs and a glass cocktail table.  The small TV while well sized for viewing from the couch, is too small to view comfortably from the more distantly located bed.   A larger screen is needed.  The lighting is well done with plenty available when needed.  The ceiling fixture,  cut out as it is, indicates this to be a premium experience.
Located as they are on the topmost accommodation deck, based on previous experience with Star Princess, I expected to hear constant creaking, particularly in rougher seas.  It was with relief that I found this not to be the case.   Silence, truly, is golden!
We were fortunate enough to have the last of the Princess butlers serving us in our cabin.  That being the case, we were provided with a complementary mini bar complete with miniature liquors, mixers, sodas and beer.  When our cruise ended, so too did the era of British Butlers on Princess.  Passengers today, are welcomed by an empty refrigerator and bar area.  I expect Butlers to return in the future, but, as the less expensive, less polished Eastern European variety seen on Celebrity rather than formally trained Brits they were using.
A wide dresser runs almost the length of the room, the space underneath of which provides usable space for storage of large pieces of luggage.  Storage, in general, is more than ample, with, a huge chest of drawers located adjacent to the closet providing space in addition to the normal space provided by the dresser and night tables.  The push button combination cabin safe is located behind the doors of the chest of drawers.  Closet space runs a good 6 feet in length and includes a shelf above.
Mini Suite Balconies are wider than those in standard cabins, permitting the more upscale loungers depicted in the photos.  Thick pads and built in stools convert these conventional looking resin armchairs into comfortable recliners.    A matching resin table makes a good resting place for drinks or snacks or a means for propping open the swing out verandah door.  Green Astroturf covers the outside deck surface.
In the photo below, note the sizable gap between the bottom rung of the balcony rail and the lower steel balustrade.  Easily, it's a large enough for a child, not even just a toddler, to crawl through and fall over the side into the ocean.  This is typical of ALL balconies on Aloha deck.  PLEASE, if you have small children, DON'T BOOK BALCONY CABINS ON ALOHA DECK!
The bathroom is all marble: Floors, walls and ceiling.  The tub runs across the width of the ship allowing passengers to step forward and back with the rolls of the ship.  This runs contrary to some ships which place the tubs running the length of the ship, where, in the event of a roll, makes it impossible for passengers to catch their balance, potentially leading to  a dangerous fall out of the tub.  Unfortunately, Princess continues to provide those awful paper packets of shampoo and conditioner under the guise of "protecting the ocean."  Yeah..right! More like...protecting the economic bottom line!  I remember when Princess used to provide, even the lowliest inside cabins with bottles of shampoo, conditioner, moisturizer and bath and shower gel in a boxed "VIP" bath ensemble.  My, how the mighty have fallen.
