May
I can't believe it took me until Memorial Day (observed) to get this page online!
May was the month of the bearded iris - I had them blooming around the yard, in all sorts of wonderful colors.
Pretty spectacular, isn't it. They've just about stopped blooming, but who knows whether I'll see more?
There were more blooming as well:
The white clematis out front and the magenta out back.
The Princess Elizabeth rose has started it's procession of blooms which should last all year.
More clematis, next to the blooming lemon tree.
The grape vines are coming along nicely, and should bloom any day now. Meanwhile, the artichoke is profuse - there are about a half dozen that need to be cut and eaten!
Finally, here are flowers blooming out front - daylilies and two hanging pots.
