Over a squatted hill and down the
other side,
a stretch of tight turns had
something to hide.

With trees on both sides and twigs
in the spokes,
the edge of the hill climb
quickly approached.

Just past the last turn and
bearing down,
I saw my fate on that
ground.

With a twist of the throttle and a
roost to boot,
I barely made it up that narrow
shoot

As the bike launched forward,
landing near the tree atop,
I shut the power down,
and nearly dropped.

Dents in the frame and sticks in the shroud,
the suspension did not do me
proud.

DeVol Racing
will be happy to hear,
I'll be calling
for some cool bike gear.

Coming close to nature
and always with good friends,
makes me want to ride
and crash again !
