Keeping a log of your fishing trips can increase your fishing pleasure each time you go out. Below are two shareware programs for you to get, download one or both.

Fish Expert contains an intelligent database that queries your fishing conditions, then provides you with one of over 400 proven fishing methods or patterns. It even takes into account weather, time of year, type of water, wind, spawning conditions, high/low pressure systems, and more. The methods given are unique for the fish you specify. Techniques for boat control and ice fishing are also included. The program also includes fishing logs, recipes, lake information, equipment, packing lists, a U.S. Coast Guard–approved float plan, and more. You can search topics by keyword, and online help and printing facilities exist.

Minimum requirements: Windows 3.x or later

After downloading and using both these programs, I prefer to use this Fishing Log. You will need to unzip this and run the setup.exe to install it. Its a very nice organizer.
