Airguns-Online Postal Competition 2001

Beginning in January 2000, we will be hosting an online honor postal competition. We will be offering no prizes beyond the recognition of having your scores posted here. We also aren't charging an entry fee. Each match will run one month. Results will be updated as entries are recieved. Rules for 2001

Men and Junior Males will shoot 60 record shots in 1 hour 45 minutes
Women and Junior Females will shoot 40 record shots in 1 hour 15 minutes
All courses of fire will be shot at 10 meters. (Both feet must be behind shooting line)
Air rifles and pistols will shoot at standard10 meter targets (B-40 or eq. for pistol-AR-5 for or eq. for rifle) or download targets in .pdf format.
Targets may be single face or multiple face.
5 shots per pistol bull, 2 shots per bull for rifle, maximum
All shooting will be offhand. Pistol single hand.

Clothing:
Target Rifle: Shooting Jackets, Glove and Pants are allowed.
Sporter Rifle: Shooter may wear up to two sweatshirts, no shooting jackets, gloves, pants or boots allowed

Classification:

All shooters will start as un-classified (Master).
Classification will run with submitted average scores over duration of matches. Classification will be as follows:

Ranking:

Placement will be grouped by: Division, Gender, Junior, Classification.Women and juniors will shoot against women and juniors for reporting purposes.

Division: New Divisions Added 12/18/99

Stock Sporter Rifle: Open Iron Sights No Rear Peep or Scopes, any power, any make or model, any caliber.
Modified Sporter I: Peep Sights, Non-Optical Target Sights, Globe Front Allowed
Modified Sporter II: Optical Sights or Scopes
Target Rifle: Target Sights (peep/globe front), any make or model, 177 caliber.
Pistol: .177 caliber, open sights

Rested Juniors: To allow beginning juniors to enjoy a competition and recieve recognition, starting in Feb. 2000, we will be offering a bench rested juniors division. Same classification of rifles and pistols prevail, however, shooter may shoot from a bench. Entries must declare that they are for the rested division. It is suggested that parents overseeing this competition consider using the NRA Shooter Qualification program in conjunction with these matches

Each division will be reported by men,women and juniors (19 years old and under). Junior M/F may be combined.
