*Please note this upgrade does not apply to NZ users or Australian users of the Regional Version of LETSAssist. Upgrade includes a new LETS.MDB as the updated LETSAssist system file and BARTER.WRI as the updated documentation file.
Instructions for installing LETSAssist from zip files
1. Download the five zip files and the PKUNZIP.EXE file.
2. Create four separate directories on your hard disk called DISK1, DISK2, DISK3 and DISK4 respectively.
3. Copy DISK1.ZIP and DISK1SUP.ZIP to directory DISK1; DISK2.ZIP to directory DISK2 and so on.
4. Copy PKUNZIP.EXE to each of the four above directories or set the PATH so it can be executed from any directory.
5. Unzip the files to their respective directories. From DOS type "PKUNZIP DISK1" in directory DISK1; "PKUNZIP DISK2" I directory DISK2 etc. Alternatively you can unzip the files to their respective directories using the WINZIP utility which is freely available on the Net.
6. Execute the SETUP.EXE file in the DISK1 directory and follow the instructions on screen to install LETSAssist.
7. Print out the BARTER.WRI file for documentation on how to use LETSAssist.
8. Register LETSAssist using the registration form (print the REGISTER.WRI file).
Instructions for installing the LETSAssist Upgrade
1. Download the UPGRADE.ZIP file.
2. Backup your current version of LETS.MDB and BARTER.WRI (optional).
3. Unzip the UPGRADE.ZIP file to a floppy disk. (refer step 5. above).
4. Execute the UPGRADE.EXE file from the floppy to install the upgrade to LETSAssist. NB If you are runningWindows 95 or Windows NT do not run UPGRADE.EXE (which is for Windows 3.1 installations) but copy the LETS.MDB and BARTER.WRI files into the directory where LETSAssist is installed.
